Descriptions of new American spiders

In the following pages twenty-three new species of American spiders are described. Another specific name has been proposed for Dictyna armata Banks, a name preoccupied by Thorellin 1875. Filistata crasipalpus Gertsch has been made the type of a new genus, Filistatinela. Unless otherwise indicated the types of the new species are deposited in the Collection of The American Museum of Natural History.
