| Abstract: | The spider genus Dossenus Simon, 1898, with six species, is revised. The types of Dossenus marginatus Simon, 1898 are redescribed. One new species, D. guapore from Mato Grosso, Brazil, is described and illustrated. The types of D. fluminensis (Mello-Leitão), D. marginellus Badcock, D. longipes Mello-Leitão and D. fidelis Mello-Leitão are juveniles and those names are therefore considered species inquirendae |
